XP 32 bit or 64 bit

Help! We are infected by the blaster virus and have
downloaded thye removal tool, but don't know which Windows
XP patch to get--the 32 bit or 64 bit. How can I
determine which version I need?

If you have to ask, you need 32-bit. The 64-bit patches are only for
ultra-expensive workstations based on the Intel Itanium processor, and I'm
sure you would have noticed dropping $20,000 for one of them

You have 32bit most likely

If you have XP Home it is for sure 32bit.

If you have XP Pro..Right click on My Computer and select Properties. If
you see 64-bit in there anywhere u have 64 it it does not say 64 then u have
32.
