XML to replace INI

B

Brad Markisohn

I've seen a posting stating that INI files are obsolete and that the
registry or XML file should be used instead. I do not want to use the
registry and I've never used XML. Can somebody please post a simple example
that would get me started?

TIA

Hi Herfried,

Just to make you attent on it, I saw you was contributing that link before
in this newsgroup.

It is really not simple German (lets say with a lot of pictures), I think
that when you distribute this (from non German speaking countries) to
someone from the Benelux or from Scandinavia it should not be a problem.

But I think that for the most others it is not that good link.

:)

Basically, you are right, but...

.... I remember I already told you that if /I/ am looking for a solution, I
would even read Chinese webpages (note that I do /not/ speak Chinese and
I do /not/ understand text written in Chinese).

Oh Yes, I forgot that almost about that Chinese, but I will remember it me
again, when I see something about Chinese I will say that you can
understand that well.

:))

And to be serious, that was the main reason that I told that there where no
pictures on it.

But it is your decission I did only make you attent on it.
