XML / Text compare tools that handle huge files?

I need a way to compare SLX files, and I do know about SLDX Assistant, but i
need something right now, and it will take some time before i can convince my
boss to buy SLDX Assistant..

I tried WinDiff, WinMerge but they just lockup on huge XSL files.. Anyone's
using other tools - what r u guys using to compare slx files?

SLDX Assistant came out of an attempt to use Windiff.

The manual method is to go through each SLX by hand and eliminate the
components that are in both configurations. It takes time, but you will get
there.

Not sure if this will work for you but XPeTools package (ConfigrationExplorer component) has a function to export the SLX as a
plain text file that gives you an easy way to compare two SLX's component lists.

hehe no way im going throguh 50mb of text by hand. if they don't buy
Supl. Toolkit tools, i'll have to write something in perl to help me with it.
menawhile i'll try KM's tools
