XML Schemas

Dear Group:

I need to get some data from an SQL Server database. The
administrator says that he will provide it to me as an XML
file for import into my Access 2002 database. He has
asked me to provide him with an XML schema. How may I
build such a schema? (There are no instructions available
through "Help" in Access). What do these schemas look
like? Where may I get some examples from which I may
model my schema? Any help will be appreciated. God bless.

Just reverse the process!
In other words build your Access table, fill a few rows with sample data and
export it to XML.
The prompts will ask if you to embed the XML schema in the data file or in a
separate file.
Choose separate file and hand the schema to the DBA.
Ask him to create a small sample file that you can use to test your import.
Then import his file as XML into your test table.

Of course all this works best in A2003 and not quite so good in A2002 and
worse in A2000 and not at all in A97.

Roger. Reverse process and produce XML schema from a mock
table. I tested it and it worked, however I still need to
test an import using the schema. Thanks for help. Out.
