hi community

i saw one of my colleague laptop that when he execute his xlsx 2007 and
click the Create New workbook, it displays the older version of xls 2003 with
65536 rows and the title bar shows "compatibility mode"......

how can he possible to that?....anybody can enlighten me ???

thanks community

Hi.

As you said it's in compatibility mode.

Try to save a document as excel 2007 and that disapear.

Cheers,
Marco

It is a 2003 compatible file, that is limited to 65536 rows. Save it as an
xlsx or xlsm and it will then provide 1M+ rows.

Like others have said, save as a normal workbook.

But I think you have to close and reopen the workbook to see all the rows. (I
think!)
