I recently converted my websites to XHTML 1.0 Transitional markup (from
HTML 4.0 Transitional). They work fine for me in Netscape 7.2, but I
have received quite a few reports from people using Internet Explorer of
my page bringing up a download link for an XHTML file instead of
displaying the page.

So, is there any update that allows Internet Explorer to parse XHTML?
Or, should I just go back to HTML 4?

Don

P.S. My XHTML markup is W3-validated, if it matters.

What is the extension of your xHTML files? It should be the same as regular
HTML files if you want it to work with IE.
