XD card in Epson 915/925

Im helping a friend into Digital Photography and part of the reason for him
buying in now was not needing a PC to print your own. He would like to buy
either the Epson 915 or 925 but neither of these offers XD card compability
out of the box. Ive suggested he holds back a little while in anticipation
of Epson supplying an adapter with its printers soon. I have no foundation
for this assumption though, what do you think he should do ? I have yet to
find an In stock-UK adapter at less than £35 and I feel that this would be
better spent on a higher spec printer.

Epson isn't supporting that media. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for
it. Some adapters will work while others won't. That is why they aren't
supporting it.

But!!! With HP coming out with one that does, it won't be long before
Epson and the others do to.

Epson has been testing them but all readers don't work the same so that is
why they aren't supporting it at this time. I am sure the minute that it
works consistently they will support them for their printers.
