x1900xt memory PLS help

can anyone confirm this:

when started, atiwinflash 1.05 (dl under techpowerup.com) shows 192 mb video
ram (the card has 512)

as quake4 stutters in ultra quality mode (that needs 512 mb) i am afraid
that my video ram i9s defective.


can anyone with a x1900xt (512mb) card run atiwinflash (no need to flsh,
just start and read the numbers shown) and look, how much video memory
atiwinflash does show in his card and post the result here.

ATIWinflash.exe, version 1.0.5.0, displays N/A for Video Memory, Memory
Clock, and Engine Clock on my X1900XTX. So, it detects that I have NO RAM

The card does in fact have 512MB as advertised and I don't have any video
studdering in Q4 or Doom3 at Ultra Quality, however, I believe that is more
dependent on system RAM than Video RAM.

I have 2GB of system RAM.

Which version of ATIWinflash are you using? Right click the .exe and look in
properties.

got the 1900xt aiw card, works okay...

i was using version 1.0.5. (was the recommended version to use)

doom 3 runs fine in ultra quality, but quake4: no way.

maybe my 1 GB ram is not enough for q4
