Hello, I tried to resize mi WXP partition using Partition Magic. I was
told to reboot and then an error occured during the Partition resize.
Since then, when I try to start WXP, I get the "Safe mode, last known
good configuration, etc" screen, and no matter which option I choose, I
will get rebooted again.

Is there anything I can do to get this partition working again? I am
writing from my other partition, under Linux, if that's any help. TIA.

I know you don't want to hear this, but this happened to me before,
exactly as it happened to you, and after 3 days of pain I had to
reinstall XP.
Sorry. Maybe others will be more helpful.

no quick ideas there.
Next time ghost it.

Do a win xp repair off the cd. if that doesn't work.

then, depending on where you data is, how it's backed up, how confident
you are about the backup.

remove win and reinstall it. or format.
