WWW service deos not start on XP Pro

I need some serious help! I installed IIS on my Windows XP Professional
machine, however, http://localhost does not displays anything, clicking on
IIS branch in the Computer Manager just locks it up. When I look at the
"World Wide Web Publishing" service it always has status of "Starting" and
never goes "Started". My attempts to uninstall and reinstall have not
produced anything as I can not complete uninstall. Machine starts
uninstalling IIS but then just sits there. I really need to get this working
so any and al help will be greatly appreciated.

I figured this on my own. It seems that ZoneAlarm is preventing IIS from
starting. If I set WWW service to start manualy, reboot, shutdown ZoneAlarm
and then start WWW service it does start. Now, my question is: "can someone
tell me how to make ZoneAlarm behave better towards the IIS?"
