There were 3 copies of the program
[string of Korean or Chinese character]c:\program files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe
program calling the wwvae.exe file.

EasyCleaner's Startup Inspector can't remove the entries from my startup
list & I couldn't rename or delete the wwvae.exe file. I've since renamed it
via a boot cd.

Can anyone tell me what that file is for, & do I need it? Nothing seems to
have been affected by disabling the program in the startup list.

Thank you. NAV missed it, Kaspersky labelled it as a trojan-downloader etc.
& yes, I did spell it correctly.
