I have a couple of users experiencing performance
problems because wuser32.exe is eating up system
resources. As far as I can discern the wuser32.exe app
is SMS associated. But SMS is not pushing any software
when the system resources are through the roof. Any
ideas?

In addition to consuming much CPU reosurces, is it also
incrementally consuming more and more memory?

The memory usage is at about a third and that jumps up
and down but not significantly. Now - I don't know if
that is progressively more or not - I wasn't paying
attention to the mem usage while troubleshooting it over
the past week.

This problem is still plaguing a couple of users. I have
checked, SMS is the latest SP, I have disabled Active
Desktop with gpedit, I've done everything I can think
of. Still, the system process jumps between 3% and 100%
erratically. The problem is not constant, it comes in
waves (one morning or one day every other day or so).
Any thougths would be very helpful.
