wupdater (not responding) - IE opening very slowly

Recently installed Norton anti virus and internet security. Every since I have been getting a message in the dialouge box when I hit cntl, alt, delete that shows the above. Eventually it opens but not for a minute or two

Can anyone help

Try removing the wupdater parasite.
