wrongly deleted msrexe.vir

Dear sir/madam

i scan my pc with antivirus today. The antivirus detect a
virus call BKDR_JEEMP. the antivirus unable to delete the
infected file (MSREXE.VIR). Later i delete this file
(MSREXE.VIR), which is located at c:windows\system32

How can i fix this file back. Is there any possibility
that my Windows wont function properly after this?

im using windows xp pro. pls advise. thank you.
 
is MSREX.VIR is virus file??
as i know the virus name is BKDR_JEEMP.
are u sure that no system file name as MSREXE.VIR ??

incurable virus can be infected by this method goto

there you will find scan my pc for virus called Pand
active Scan , it will down load some ActiveX components
agree them and say yes . now your virus will be removed
there is also virus repair utility found there
 
The .vir extension means that your antivirus software marked it as a virus.
The original file was msr.exe. Do a search for that on google, and you'll be
pretty sure you don't want that back, either.
