Wrong time displayed

When I view my calendar in the office using Outlook, the
meetings are listed correctly. When I login to our server
remotely across the Internet, my mail works fine, but my
calendar displays all times 8 hours off ( a 9 am meeting
displays as a 5 pm meeting) !!

Outlook has the option of maintaining separate time zones so you can, for
example, see what time your 5PM conference call is going to seem to that
person in, say, London.

Not sure about your setup, but you might have either a second time zone set
or be switching between them. In general, the following is how to set one
up. If you follow the instructions, you might discover one already exists
and needs to be removed.

Another possibility is that the server has the wrong time - or is configured
to adjust PC's connected to it to the "correct" time in terms of its
location. Not knowing how you're networked, it's hard to tell.

Anyway, here's the print of the related instructions:

Add another time zone
1.. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Preferences tab.

2.. Click Calendar Options.

3.. Click Time Zone.

4.. Select the Show an additional time zone check box.

5.. In the Label box, type a description.

6.. In the Time zone box, click the time zone you want to add.

7.. If you want your computer clock automatically adjusted for daylight
saving time changes, select the Adjust for daylight saving time check box.
This option is available only in time zones that use daylight saving time.

Tip You can quickly switch your current time zone to the second time zone
by clicking Swap Time Zones. This affects all times displayed in Outlook as
well as times displayed in other Windows-based programs.
