We are using Office 2000 SP-3, Exchange Server 2000 and Microsoft 2000 Server, Individual machines are using Microsoft 2000 - When I send an email over the internet it shows the internal email address so a person cannot reply to the email, and in some cases such as with Comcast.net the email is immediately kicked back with an "invalid sender" note on it
I found some sent emails that had not been deleted, originally the "From" line showed the external internet address. Since sometime last week that same From: line switched to first list the correct internet email address THEN it says on behalf of and the senders name. If I right click on the senders name it comes up with the senders internal internet properties with tabs that say General, Organization, Phone/Notes/Member of/ Email Address which is all the internal email information. Last week on one of the computers (not the server) I updated Microsoft 2000. HOWEVER, this problem is happening on all computers not just the one updated (via microsoft office 2000 (explorer-tools-windows update). Would that have affected all computers?? How do I fix this problem, we desparately need to fix the internet email feature fast.
