.... but does anyone know of ISP identifier shareware/freeware/trialware that
will allow pinpointing of the country, region, state and city of origin of
any given ISP? Used to be a great one that would show hops on a world map
that could be downloaded at zdnet but it appears to have disappeared. I use
XP Pro with service pack 2, if that helps.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for but check on www.samspade.org
and www.dslreports.com.
