wrong page keeps on opening

each time i try to open any page that begins like
www.geocities.com/......... this page www.white-pages.ws
opens instead. what can i do to fix this, bcos right now
i cant visit anything on geocities including my home page.

Search your hd for a file named HOSTS (no extension, and may be hidden). Open
with a text editor such as Notepad and look for entries containing
"www.geocities.com". If found, delete the entire line(s), save the file, then
rerun your test.
