Wrong Icons PLEASE HELP!!!!

When I put in a cd and open it up in Windows Explorer in any view all the
files show up with an Internet Explorer icons, no matter what the file type
is.

There are also some scripts which include the registry paths to keys where
icons may be changed, that information can help you trace possible changes
that may cause the wrong icons.
