Writing to recordable CD-R

I'm trying to copy photos to my CD-R drive using the CD
Writing Wizard, but the wizard doesn't recognize the
presence of a writable CD in the drive. It keeps asking
me to insert a writable CD into the drive. I know the
drive works because I can copy music to it and I know the
CD is good. What's wrong?

I have the same problem. I write to a cd-rw and it closes
the disk. It is suppose to work like a floppy but when I
back up my Quicken file it closes the disk. I go to back
up a few days later and it won't let me. If you get an
answer, please share.
