Writing backup batch file

I have made a batch to back up a file but seems my syntax is flaky.

Here:
Copy C:\docume~1!!Nort~1\a-b\anderson\*.* C:\back

Long file names: c:\documents\!!North Labs\

Any ideas?

Whoops! Typed the sample line incorrectly:

Copy C:\docume~1\!!Nort~1\a-b\anderson\*.* C:\back
