Writing a Formula or VBA

i appreciate the help . . i want to insert a row below the row that data is
being entered. . . the workbook is going to be used as a tracking sheet . .
each row will have a different location on it . . .when the location is
initially entered on the sheet the user will choose what the next action will
be . . .when they do so another row will be inserted under the location with
same information as the first row . .only thing really changing is the next
action . . .i want this to continue to happen until there is no longer any
work left to do on the location . . could be a one time site . . a user could
return to the site more than 10 times. . .is this possible . . .

I would aslo eventually like to make the worksheet protected so that the
formulas can't be deleted . . but i would like the user to be able to query
locations . . would that still be possible . . once again thanks for your
time . .

We need more specific information, such as:
. i want to insert a row below the row that data is
being entered. . . the workbook is going to be used as a tracking sheet >each row will have a different location on it

1. What is the structure of the existing data.
2. How does inserting a row below the row that data is being entered
help you track.
3. What are you tracking?
4. What does "each row will have a different location on it" mean?
.when the location is initially entered on the sheet the user will >choose what the next action will be
. . .when they do so another row will be inserted under the location >with same information as the first row . .
only thing really changing is the next action . .

5. How many actions are there to chose from?
6. What determines which action to choose?
7. What is the purpose of repeating the data in the copied row?
.i want this to continue to happen until there is no longer any
work left to do on the location .

8 How doe you know there is no more work left to do on the location?
could be a one time site . . a user could
return to the site more than 10 times. .

9. What is the difference between a one-time site and a user returning
to a site 10 times?

10. What would cause the user to return to a site 10 times?

11. Do you have any samples of work you have done to accomplish your
goals. What have you tried already?

12. What excel and operating system versions are you using?
13. How many users will be using the completed workbook?
