Writer Arthur C Clarke dies at 90

He wrote some very good tales .

None of this " Fred Skywalker has 24 hours to save the earth" crap from Arthur C. - he wrote clever, thought provoking sci-fi.

He was the first to suggest geostationary communication satellites, years before they were a practical proposition.
