Write the values of a PropertyGrid to an XML file

Is it possible to refer a dataset to the contents of a PropertyGrid so that
one can read and write XML files of the dataset? Reading the XML file would
populate the PropertyGrid.

Hi Steve,

First of all, I would like to confirm my understanding of your issue. From
your description, I understand that you need to put everything that is
displayed on the PropertyGrid to a DataSet or an Xml file. If there is any
misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

The PropertyGrid itself doesn't support serializing to an Xml. When you
have set an object as the SelectedObject of the ProeprtyGrid, it actually
uses reflection to get the content of the object. In this case, you can
serialize the object using XmlSerializer to achieve this.

For more information about how to do Xml Serialization, please check the
following link:

If anything is unclear, please feel free to reply to the post.
