Write Protection

How do I remove the "write protection" on a CD formatted with Roxio Media
Creator 9?

CD-R or CD-RW?

CD-Rs can not have the "write protect" turned off since the CD-R is a
"write once" only media, unless you have it set as a "Multi-Session"
CD and the media "burn" was not "finalized."

CD-RWs behave usually just like the CD-Rs, unless you use the Roxio
"Drag to Disk" module. This module can use the the CD-RW like a huge
600MB floppy disk.
However, you can always "tell" the drive to "erase" the CD-RWs which
will then let you re-use the disk.
