write acess

I recently installed Norton Internet Security and Live Update won't work an
error message comes up and says" Need write acess to registry" how do I get
write acess I am the only user and am administator and have full control in
permissions

write acess I am the only user and am administator and have full control in
permissions

I think Norton has removed write access to other applications. Norton
may thinks that is NOT a Microsoft program, and then block it.
