wrapping text and autofit in merged cell

I have a spreadsheet with several cells in the same row
merged together. Also, the text is set to wrap. When you
type in the cell and it exceeds the amount of the cell you
can view, the rest of the words get cut off. You can't
double click and Autosize. The only way to view the whole
cell is to manually re-size the row. Is there any way to
make this autofit?

Hi Megan
one of the 'wonderful' drawbacks of merged cells. AFAIK you can't ->
most people would recommend NOT to use merged cells
