worm infections

Hi

I seem to be receiving a lot of emails with worm
infections in them.

I have norton installed so i have quarantined and deleted
these from my PC.

Today tho more emails came through with this virus.

Is this normal or is something wrong with my PC??

Welcome to the Wide World of SWEN. The problem is, you have posted your
e-mail address - it's in your account settings in your news client and it
isn't 'munged' - SWEN harvests addresses from usenet much as many spambots
do. They have your address now, not much you can do about it if you don't
want to change your address - create a rule in your mail client to delete
them.

Posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup post, or in your news
account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and SWEN and other viruses

future, but note that now that your address is out there, there's not much
you can do other than changing your address.
