I want to delete 2 worksheets in my notebook, however the
option under the Edit menu is greyed out.

This is a new notebook created from a copy of another
existing notebook which will not allow us to save it when
we make changes. We always have to give it a new name.

Is the workbook/sheet protected.

Go to Tools->Protection->unprotect worksheet and you
should be ok

However, if there is a password attached you will have to
find out what that is.

Is the workbook protected? Look under Tools>Protection and see if "UnProtect
Workbook" is available. If so, you may need a password to unprotect.
