I am pasteing text from notepad to Excel. The text coming from notepad is
double-spaced. I want to have the text going to Excel to be only
single-spaced (data in each consecutive cell.) Tried to AUTOFILTER but is
not what I am looking for. Any suggestions?

I'd try sorting the data. The junk may go to the bottom.

Before sorting, I suggest the OP should add a column on the right filled with
sequential numbers, so, after getting the blanks to the bottom where they can
be deleted, you can get the remaining rows back into their original order.
