Working with FP 03 directly from a remote server?

I posed a question to MS FP 2003 support. The first thing he asked me back
was whether I was working from my C:/ drive or from the "server" as
indicated by the files listed as http://www.mywebsite.com

This posed another question (I just love it when answers give me nothing but
more questions... jees!) So, is that actually possible? How does one
actually work directly on updating the files from the remote server using
FP?

You open the remote site using File Menu | Open Site and enter the URL as http://www.yourdomain.com

just go to file | open web| enter ur website address and
password, then frontpage will open ur site. u will see it
opened as www.yoursite.com. be aware, whatever changes u
make will not take place on ur c drive, unless u publish
from ur server to the c drive.

when you go "Open Web" go to (whatever the equivalent in XP - assuming you ARE
running XP if you have FP2003)

Network Places (in the 'Open Web' dialogue), and there should be your www
connections (i.e. your web sites) or if there's not, instead of opening the web
from your local disk, type in the full domain name including the http://www
then you'll be prompted for the username/password for the server/account.

Then you can work "live" on the site.
