working on a document and can't type, locked out

[first time user of Microsoft Word, chang]

was working on a document on Microsoft Word and can't retype anything,
locked out from document and can't use toolbars to correct problem ... how do
i unlock document that i'm currently working on?

please help me - thank you

It sounds like you either have an expired tiral version or you didn't
activate Word.
