Workgroup problems with home network

M

Moonspell

I have a small home network setup in my basement with my
computer (from now on referred to as MINE), my dads (DAD)
and my mom's (MOM). I have a workgroup setup called
20horseshoe which has MINE and MOM on it. MINE and DAD
are both running Windows XP. MOM is running Windows 2000.
DAD cannot join the 20horseshoe workgroup despite
countless attemps of using the Microsoft Network Wizard. I
even created one of those network setup disks from MINE
and ran on DAD but that did not solve the problem either.
I have tried searching for it on the My Network Places and
Entire network but DAD cannot be found.
MINE, DAD and MOM are all connected through a Netgear
FR314 router and all three have internet access and can
print to the network printer (through an HP Print Server).

My goal is to be able to see SharedDocs on DAD and have
DAD be able to see SharedDocs on MINE. Please help.

Have Dad turn his firewall off.
If Dad can print and everything just can not ping the network.
