I have a 2-machine workgroup with 2 users. One machine is
running XP and the other Win2k. Both users have the same
user id and password on each machine. I created a share on
My XP machine. I can access the share but can't modify any
documents.
I have simple sharing turned off.
I have permissions set to everyone full control
I think my question is how do I grant individual users of
a workgroup on the 2k box permission on the XP box?
I was able to create an MMC and added the snap in of the
users from the workgroup but when I go to the permissions
of the share I am unable to browse for those users. The
only option I get is local users. If possible I would like
to grant the users of the workgroup permissions to each
individual share.
Thanks
