I get a message that WorkFlowHarnessExecutable
Application has encountered a problem whenever I try to
install a disc or trnasfer data from my former computer.
Any thoughts?

That app is part of a DSL support package, say from Southern Bell or
RoadRunner. You probably don't need it since XP supports PPPoE anyway, so
if it is crashing on you, perhaps disable it with msconfig or uninstall it.
