Workbook opens very slow

Hi all,

I have a workbook with several worksheet, some of which contain indirect
addressing within the cells. There is no more than 200 or so of these cells.
They reference other workbooks with single worksheets that are not very
large, perhaps several columns by 50 rows or so. Why does it take so long
just to open, i.e. of the order of 5 to 10 minutes (on a 2.6GHz machine)?

Make a copy of the file and systematically paste value over blocks of
formulas. This will allow you to determine where the problems are.
