WordPerfect conversion in word 2007

When opening documents written with WordPerfect (v. 5.1) with word07, the
conversion works differently (not as well) from conversion to my old Word2000.
For instance: the indents, made in WP with the F4 button, are converted
correctly by Word2000 (to 'hanging indents'), but with Word2007 the
tab-character between figure and text is missing.
I have tried tweaking the 'compatibility' parameters, but to no avail as
yet... Can someone help?

You could install the old WP converter (which you can downoad from my web
site) but don't be surprised if future updates conspire to replace it with
the new one again.
