Wordpad lost, does not appear...

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in:
"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe" , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: WordPad , and click "Finish"
4. A new WordPad shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

Jose, did you try to do a search of your C drive to see if it's there? How
about just trying a Start, Run wordpad. If none of this works you can
extract the wordpad.exe file from the XP cd. Do a search of the cd for
Wordpad.ex_ and you will find it there. You will have to use the expand
command to extract the compressed file and put it back on you hard drive.
