Wordpad exe is not working

hi, MY problem is......somehow i lost my wordpad exe. now
i wana to reinstall....plz tell me how i could again
reinstall wordpad exe.......hopefully u will solve my
problem as soon as possible.

Click START|RUN, and type...

wordpad


If it works, simply create a new shortcut to the WORDPAD.EXE executable

Unfortunately, I thought I remembered that this is caused by a virus. A
quick Google found that the Nimda virus will also cause this behavior. See
the PCMag article about it at

Also a couple of versions ago CWS (cool web shedder)
deleted notepad.
