word wrapping text

Hi.

Using word 2003 i have a problem where at the end of each line of text
instead of words going automatically onto a new line, they are being split.
for example if the word instalment was written at the end of a line, it would
appear something like insta on the end of the current line, and lment on the
next line. it's almost like hyphenation without the hyphens.

any clues?

so i had microshit office 2003 and been using it for years, figured ok, i'll
check out home and student 2007 so i downloaded the trial, went through all
their stupid hoops and finally got to download and install it, well thats all
fine and dandy but it wasn't anything really special so i un installed it...
sorry but its not worth 150 bucks, nothing from microsoft is imho but anyways
it took out my 2003 version as well so now i have no word program at
all.....i guess its microshits way of forcing you to give them more money or
what? maybe its time i try torrents or something because microshit has just
gotten stupid

It seems that when you installed the Office 2007 trial, you installed it
over Office 2003 instead of side by side. You can certainly reinstall Office
2003 from your original media.

Hi,

I think the file might be corrupt. You may try Advanced Word Repair at
http://www.datanumen.com/awr/ This tool is rather useful in salvaging
damaged Word documents.
