Word 2000
I am using Windows Explorer to open a number of Word files (document files),
each of which I close before opening the next. I also have a separate Word
file open for taking occasional notes (note file). When I close a document
file, I would like to return to the Explorer window that I just came from,
but the note file, which had previously been minimized, pops up instead.
Is there any way to keep Word document windows out of the way until I need
them?
Thanks,Jerry

Jerry:

Try arranging your windows so Word isn't maximized. It can be as big as you
like, just not maximized. The minimized Notes document window should then
stay minimized when you close your other document.
