Word to Excel

I'm sorry if I'm repeating a question...(I think I saw this one on here, but
can't find it).

I have several Word Documents that I would like to save as one Excel
document(one document on each sheet). I have tried several times to
accomplish this, but have not been able to transfer the data as is, the
format always changes in the crossover. The best I have been able to do is
save as a Word document in Excel, which makes it look like a snapshot.

Is there anyway to transfer the documents from Word to Excel?

Excel really isn't designed to hold formatted Documents - and Word isn't
designed for tabular calculations. That's why there are two different
products. It sounds like you've done the best you can

In word you have one giant working area, in Excel you have about 6
milllion (no joke) seperate "working spaces" so I can see how that would be a
problem.
What's the content? Is it just a bunch of numbers? Or a list of
people? Why do you want to convert it to Excel? If you can't convert it, the
next best thing would be to just copy and paste. Open both your original word
document and the empty excel document and cut from the word and paste into
the excel. If you do attempt this you must copy each bit of information in
the cell you want it to go. If you try to copy the whole document into one
cell all you'll end up with is the entire word document shoved into one cell,
which would basically be what you already have.
Hope this helps,
