Word Template???

Maurice

Hello,

We are using WORD 2000 on Windows 2000 and are trying
to get the Purchase Order template working. We downloaded from
microsoft
<http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...4B-AFE7-4588-BABC-328ECB34CB81&displaylang=en>
the file: WrdTemp.exe, and installed it per the instructions. Found
the Template were it is supposed to be and opened it. Everything is
swell up to that point. Now the problem starts when we try to change
the text: `Your Company Name', City, State, zip, ect. to our company
name, City, ect., and it won't happen. The only thing on the template
we can change is greyed out boxes for QTY., UNIT, DESCRIPTION, ect..
Opening it as a new document or a new template doesn't help either.
The question is: How do you get this template to work?!!!

Thanks!!!

From the Tools Menu, Select Unprotect, make your changes and then re-apply
the protection so that the FormFields in the template work as anticipated.
