I have a long 4-column table that was created in Word. Is there any way that
I can bring this table into a FP page without messing up FP?

Edit | Paste Special, though I've not tried it with a table

Fp 03 has a optimize html which has a selection for getting rid of word guff
... however it's not worked for me I shall have to do a bit more testing
though.

You can paste to notepad and then use Table | Convert | Text to Table

Let me know if this helps.

In FrontPage, create a new page.
Open Windows Explorer and resize FrontPage so that both can be seen on
screen at the same time.
In Windows Explorer, browse to the Word Document. Don not open the
document.
Drag the document onto the open page.

The table will be placed on the page using clean HTML. There may be a
little editing to do (in my test I lost different coloured cell borders),
the amount of editing will depend on the complexity of the table content,
but the result is a perfectly usable table with none of the usual Word
bloat.
