Word should renumber lines that have repearted headings

The following applies to a word documents. When there are multiple
linesthat are subheadings and are numbred that repeat, word should be able to
renumber them as new ones are added or subtracted. These applies to actual
arabic numbers (1,2,3...) and spelled words (One, Two, Three,...). For
Example:

Question One (Bolded and underlined)
What is your name?
Question Two (Bolded and underlined)
How old are you?
Question Three (Bolded and underlined)
Where do you live?

Word has had this ability for as long as I have been using it (Word 2.0).

general information on numbering. Whether you create a numbered heading
style or use SEQ fields, the numbers will update.

THis method is a good idea but it does not address what I am trying to do.
Look at my example. I need the words QUESTION before the actual numbered
word of ONE. SO thta each heading is QUESTION ONE, QUESTION TWO, QUESTION
THREE. Microsoft only allow the numbered word to come first thus using your
mthod my headings would read ONE QUESTION, TWO QUESTION, THREE QUESTION. I
thank you for you efforts and time. I learned much from your help. What I
really need is for Microsoft to change their product. Of course thta is like
any act of congress...

This is entirely untrue. If you will look at the examples in the Outline
Numbering dialog, you will see several that have Chapter, Section, etc.,
before the number. You can type in any text you want (up to a certain number
of characters) before the number. Believe me, you are way off base.
