word processing ability in text field

I have a protected word document which include text fields. I would like
these text fields to have word processing abilities, similiar to a normal
word document. Any ideas or suggestion are greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, when you protect a document for forms, you hamstring Word,
disabling quite a few of its formatting features.
