Hello

I have been having a problem with the format layout of my resum
document which I cannot seem to fix no matter how much I shift thing
about.

I was wondering if someone could have a go at it.

I originally got the spacing correct by using the space, return an
delete keys but I tried to convert the .doc into a PDF and it turne
out with the spacing all wrong

A couple of the problems are that non of my colored shape inserts sta
in place and the bullet points are all different sizes

I have attached the document if anyone could have a look and edit tha
would be a great help

All the best
Jos

Hello Josh

I just open your document, I’m no expert in word but I can try and make a
few suggestions. Your document open in Portrait View I put in Landscape View
and look at in print pre-view . Go to view select Page setup and click on
Landscape. Your header is only showing on one page and should be on both
pages. To correct this open your document right click on you header select
cut go to view select Header and Footer and paste in the header box. Close
the Header and Footer tool box.
Next go to view toolbars click Formatting you want this toolbar showing
somewhere on your document. Next go to Format select Styles and Formatting
You should see on the left side of the screen the Styles and Formatting. Now
click in you document on each item and you should see the formatting and
styles in the formatting toolbar on your screen on the left side on the
toolbar. Play around with this it might help in using standard fonts and
styles.
You might want create a table in word using a header with Start Date.
Completion Date, Company Name, Address, Zip, State, Reason for Leaving. Job
Descriptions. You maybe able to provide a much easer document and look good.
