I am trying to create a fancy signature using "insert picture" into a table.
I was successful in creating this signature, however, when I view my
signature before sending an email it looks great. Once I send an email using
this fancy signature, the table gridlines, and or borders not sure which is
appearing. It looks to me it is the border of the table, but it could be the
gridlines as well show up when the mail is opened. I need to know how to
delete these lines forever !
Or how can I insert a picture without using a table and make it stay where I
insert it! I tired this before using the table and the picture defaults to
the bottom of the signature that I am trying to create, and I need the
picture to be elsewhere.

To create a new signature while working in Word:

For an HTML Signature:

1. Choose Tools | Options | Mail Format

2. Make sure the default format is set to HTML.

3. Click Signature Picker

4. On the Signature Picker dialog, select the signature, then click Edit.

5. On the Edit Signature dialog, click Advanced Edit. This will open the
htm file for your signature in your system's default HTML editor.

6. Use your HTML editor's tools to insert a graphic.

7. Save the file and click OK until you return to Outlook

If you don't have an HTML editor, you can locate the .htm file for the
signature in your Windows\Application Data\Signatures folder, then edit in
Notepad to add an HTML image tag.
