Word or Outlook Issue?? -Re:Introduction Screen/sending email

We are writing School Class/Course ads in Word, sent through Outlook.
When we go to: File, Send to, Mail Recipient

1/2 the time a VERY HANDY "Introduction" Screen appears (below the Subject
Box)
[the outlook email box reads: To: CC: BCC: Subject: and then the
Introduction Box pops up below the Subject box]

Problem: We can't always get this Introduction Screen to appear and I have
to keep repurposing the original schedule. For the life of me we cant locate
any one who knows how to fix/help, I can't even zero in on if it's an Outlook
issue or a Word issue...anyone?

For those who do not have the additional text box, are they using Word
as their email editor? Check this in Outlook under Tools/Options/Mail
Format.

Also, while I'm sure the additional text box is handy, all it does is
insert a horizontal line after the text in the introduction box. IOW,
you can always type your introduction at the top of the document and
insert a horizontal line after it and the outcome will not be any
different.

You'll find the horizontal line on the Borders pallet in the
Formatting toolbar or Format/Borders and Shading and click the
"Horizontal Line" button at the bottom.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.

Oh Beth! Thank you!! I have just done what you said and yes, it works! I can
not tell you how much easier this makes things for us....I personally spent 2
hours trying like the dickens to figure this out as well as 2 office staff
for a total of 4 hours of searching "Help in Outlook", " Help in Word" and
Help Online/Google. This was my first experience in getting onto a
Discussion Group....I'm just so thankful! I even told staff, and anyone who I
inquired with, if they got the answer there's a Starbuck's coffee card in it
for them....if I knew where you were I'd send you one in appreciation.
(really!) Thank you thank you!
