Word option missing from office button Word 2007

When I click the MS Office button the Word Options choice is missing. Any
help would be great as I need this option.

Maybe you're not looking in the right place? When you click on Office
Button, the Word Options button is along the bottom edge of the dropdown
menu, just to the right of center.
